we were in pizza hut and karen said that i should practice polygamy because i need to marry everyone - matt hales, ben hales, michael rosenbaum, tom welling (heh?), elijah wood, jude law... and then ticca said that tom welling is homophobic (running joke with us, no offence to tom welling) and i reasoned that it would be therefore a bad idea to marry him. someone didn�t get it, but then everyone else did. which was great and fabulous and peachy.
anyway, that conversation left an image of one of those huge boudoir-ish beds in my head. red velvet and gold. like the elephant room in Moulin Rouge! it kept distracting me during the film, and i thought: wouldn�t it be great if someone slashed matt hales with tom welling?
remember the time when ticca and i went to jenni�s house and introduced her to the wonderful world of fanfic, slash and twincest? we got talking about all the different kinds of fanfic and ticca suggested that there should be aqualung RPS. after all, they have NSync fanfic. she said something about writing some (oh yes you did). so come on then, all you fanfic writers out there. slash matt hales with tom welling! slash them all! *rubs hands together in an evil overlord way* oh so pretty...
what to call it? MH/TW? TW/MH? Tatt? Mom? Haling? Welles? Mom Haling? or just M/T? or is it T/M? i mean, with het pairings, the girl goes first, but what decides who goes first in slash? does it have to do with whoever goes top/bottom? do we even know about the dynamics of MH/TW? is MH/TW fundamentally credible? is it so unconventional that it�s completely off the scale? is there such thing as �too unconventional�? i mean, no one likes pairings that involve old, ugly people, but MH and TW are undoubtedly young and pretty. is that all the criteria needed for a good ship? lana gets shipped (well) all the time and she has nothing but youth and beauty. what is missing the writer can inject, i suppose. the whole point of fanfic.
so tell me. note me. what should The Ship be called?
maybe tom welling isn't a good choice. i don't like him much. michael rosenbaum? elijah wood? (i just thought, 'too young.' heh.) maybe someone fictional. manslut!sirius? (ticca and i discussed him much too loudly at open day. oops)
so many questions. so little time.
