all the sweat, tears and blood have finally amounted to something.
we went to DT with dread today. rach G shut the door in mr DT�s face as he wheeled in the files. she then put a chair in front of the door. i was sitting on a stool when all our marks were read out. practically fell off, but then i remembered to only skip mentally. everyone got 92% or higher, so somehow we only need to get 60% on our exams to get A*s. pretty fabulous (when i got an average of 89% in the mocks sans revision), i�ll say.
however, our sadistic teacher decided to teach using as many examples as possible of his visit to a mars factory: �chocolate tastes best fresh off the production line ... once you�ve tasted it, its never the same...�
speaking of my 100%, i haven't done a cover for it yet, and since i had a couple of hours to spare before the concert, i decided to stay and play with the computers. it took me 2 whole hours to invert some images and cut them out (while overhearing some conversation between another DT teacher and some 4th years about postcards of the female anatomy, it was disturbing).
most of those 2 hours were spent discussing buffy with my Dt teacher, who, by the way, and i have NOT forgotten, beat me in buffy trivia last year. i told him that tara dies tonight. but he didn't want to be spoilt, so i didn't go on about the attempted rape. meera did read the script of that bit, though. also showed her screencaps of lex wearing Se�or�s black ribbed sweater (she�s a little obsessive too).
back to the cover. i needed a title, so i asked meera. this is the same meera who called her music composition �a lover�s cry for help� (i made her cut it to �lover�s cry�). so she suggested �bedside table of the 22nd century� or something futuristic like that. i�m thinking of just my name. choosing a font and colour will take me another hour, so i left to eat potato salad while joining chess in telling ash and meera about the �best blowjob� part of the 45s DVD. meera was like, �are they gay?� which launched chess and i into the whole �gay guys� discussion, in which i couldn�t convince meera that superman is gay. oh well.
