i�ve taken up painting. i got an urge today so i got out my pathetic water-colour set and the paint brush i bought from school five years ago and painted things.

generally i just sketch (not a lot)and i�ve never painted for fun before and i really hated water-colours. i still don�t like them very much but the results are goodish, so i�m fine. plus, it�s very easy.

i took some photos, so now i�m gonna try and put them on. i had this fabulous idea of thumbnails and everything but they didn't work. they are here.

Neptune:

this is sailor neptune or whatever her name is when she�s not a sailor (sorry, pretty soldier). the one on the left and the top right were directly copied from the manga. ( i can even tell you that they�re from volume 7, pages 129 and 130. i suppose the colours are mine. the bottom left is also kinda copied cos the posing and hair is hers, but the stunning dress is completely mine. designed it instead of revising maths with wongsiu during half term. i wanted it to be a sort of bluey green so today i thought, �hey, i�ll get neptune to wear it!�

Black Lady:

black lady from sailor moon. chibi-moon turned evil, basically. doesn�t work too well with water-colours. love her shoes, though. again with the copiage. she�s stunning in the manga.

Versace:

remember when there was that versace exhibition? think karen went there. the sunday times style supplement did a feature so i tore out the pages and did some sketches. painted this one in.
