arent we all blind sometimes?

it though i was early, getting there before 9:30. so i wandered around lost, and didn't notice SB waving at me from the volunteer booth. and when my mum alerted me to this, Kristal and Fatima were shouting my name. they are shrill.

more than 7 hours in the sun. i'm all red now. and tired.

edit to write more later...

start again, as i was evidently not in an intelligible state:

we were put into pairs with three shifts each, but our stalls were next to each other and no one came to replace us so we stayed there the whole day. Yashvi and Laboni came but they were stationed far away. then they left. then Tim came to save SB from us.

our stalls:

jousting on the left. i told little kiddies that it was, "pushing each other off with inflatable swords and axes - violence without getting hurt!" they liked that. one on the right tells you how fast you can pitch a baseball (rubber ball). here is the lovely Kristal handing someone the yellow balls:

and below is a nice view of the machine that measures the speed of the ball, aka the bane of my existence. SB and i broke it before we even started and had to tape a pine cone on the back so it faced the right direction. duct tape isn't as sticky as i thought.

jousting got a lot more tickets. we had to mark the back of them to prevent reuse:

inflatables everywhere.

so i thought that i should have worn something springy, it being a Spring Festival and all, so i wore a nice top made of the thinnest material imaginable which tears under the least pressure. bought it in HK, from a shop i used to visit as a child. don't like it as much now.

i should stop taking shit photos of my camera shy friends as well. but they look so scared... doesn't Fatima have the nicest hair?

oh look. it's 1 am!

read Kristal's. she calls me one of the coolest pple ever, which is good for my ego. oh look. so did Tim. (i double posted there. *hangs head*)
