GMtAtSA is going along more drowningly than swimmingly. it seems that other people are making progress for my benefit, but i can't swim at the same speed.

Fran from First Column posted on the board that she will try to get invitations for people, so i emailed her. Sara spoke to Phil and he's willing so i emailed him as well. i tried to call him, but all i got was an American accented automated message saying, "37-3, the number has not been recognised, please check..." strange - perhaps his phone is roaming as Phil is flying to New York?

and Shawna is nowhere to be found. i called her house and got the machine, but i didn't leave my number. what if she should lose it? Jimmy said that she was skiing, but she did agree to drive me, so i guess she should be back for Thursday...

it's all a bit worrying, but i will get there.
