Things may be a bit too calm and staid for you today, dear Leo. You might not find yourself up to your normal boisterous self, but that may be a good thing. Take this sobering energy to evaluate your emotions and take a good honest look at the relationships you have with others. Are you really getting the respect you deserve? Perhaps you need to inform certain people that their words or actions towards you are not ok. In the meantime, get things done. Take care of the nagging errands and feel proud as you check each task off your list.
accurate, but i am about to go out for dinner so i doubt that i'll ever get anything done.
they didn't let me read after i finished the TAAS today. 45 pages of P&J plus 20 odd of APUSH won't read themselves, you know!
2.5 hours to do very short, very easy test on "writing". they told us to write in English(!). i could feel myself get more and more stupid with each question that i answered. next time i'll do the essay first. no wait, no more essays!
less essay, more letter, really. had to argue for the best course offered by high school to prepare students for the future. said English, even though i don't personally like it. turned into grammar bitch rant about netspeak, txt msg lang and the dire youth of today. siren_melodi said that she had to dumb herself down for TAKS. started to panic after refusing to compromise, given the subject choice. however, i bit my pen and swallowed "verbal atrocities" (among other things).
bloody waste of time. (=everything)
P.S. i will be in Houston for the Diversity Show. good. (bad for confused brain)
