bonjour, mes lecteurs gentils.
i realise that i have not updated yet today. not that this is a chore, but NOTHING is happening in Lokville. my plastic-hearted friend was right, i need hobbies. maybe i'll go and write some letters. or poems. or paint something. or sketch something.
yesterday, ticca kindly explained to me what tourette's was. i had thought that it was something to do with the 'ette' you put at the end of a word like 'slayerettes'. everything makes sense now.
it came up because i randomly shout type "jude law!" on msn. why? this is why. snow hair smile suit. guh and squee.
Mr M. Hales was wearing something like that. i was looking for the picture, but realised that it as on the album sleeve, not online. he too looks good in it. maybe he was shopping in prada with Bude. or to see his clumsy shop assistant brother Jen.
ETA: right after i clicked 'done!', i read a review of Still Life which said that Brighter Than Sunshine sounds like Rufus Wainwright. i don't know enough Rufus to have an opinion on that statement, but yay!
ETA again 9:17 pm: so i was reading the Hit Sheet message board, as you do. (Hit Sheet is a music industry newsletter type thing that had a campaign to help the then unsigned aqualung. aww. you'd know if you spend long hours googling "matt hales". ahem.)
anyway, Mr. M. Hales posts there. maybe just once, so maybe i should have said posted.
i keep getting distracted and going off tangents. what i wanted to say was that i'm missing loads by not going to the Damien Rice gig this saturday. (i can't unless i quickly acquire two years or a fake ID and maybe a car and some driving abilities.) hitsheet people (or person) said that gigs by Mr. Rice are weird (always good), are attended by Mr. M. Hales (even more good than always good) and are full of songs about masturbation (what's not to love?). oh, is that why there's an age restriction? puh-lease.
i'm listening to classic craig david tracks on his website. "red wine bottle half the contents gone...can you fill me in?" sweet nostalgia. why didn't i buy the album? oh yeah, 'cause i only care about the singles. hehehehe. re-e-wind. when the crowd says bo, sele-e-ecta-ta.
Will's hair on the first episode of Will & Grace: hahahaha. i was so confused because he had short hair in the ads. why would a gay man have hair like that? karen's voice was LOW! ha, haha, hahahaha.
ETA again again 10:06 pm: remember how the blacksmith remix of Rendez-vous was better than the original? no? i did.
ETA: sorry, i keep thinking of things to say after i click "make changes". it's cold in houston. but not that cold. ok cold, i suppose. 40 degrees fahrenheit... about 10 degrees celcius?
