finally saw Am�lie last night. it's my perfect film in this exact moment in time. it fills me with joy and warm, fuzzy happiness.

and it has the word fabulous in the title. fabuleux, anyway.

i can't believe it came out so long ago and i only saw it now. i'm reading Ben Hales' diary of recording the second RUTH album. no wait, he saw it while touring as the 45s, didn't he? anyway. the 45s. how long ago was that? and i finally see it. but then i might not have liked it in 2001. who knows. (ETA: he saw it exactly two years minus one day ago. coincidence? i think not.)

mabe i should take up skimming stones or window writing. or looking for torn up photos under booths. or doign good deeds. see, what i really need is time. it's just a matter of time.
