watch matt hales wander around looking like a salesman and being groped occasionally by a model. fabulous. bit jealous of her, though.

not too sure i like the video yet. it hit me that he looks quite dorky in it (dorky. how americanised). and the woman's a bit blah. i don't know, maybe i'd prefer another pretty boy. they don't look in love enough. she's clinging to him but he's jerking his head around... i find the effect a bit comedic.

i joined science olympiad. didn't know what it is. still don't. i won something about a chemistry olympiad maybe a long time ago. one of those white powder identification things - sodium chloride, sugar, baking soda or cocaine? anyway, the club is full of over-achievers. and i'm just used to getting things without work. oh dear.
speaking of not working, i did work my arse off reading and making notes on the american revolution the other night. and i got 90% initially in the test, but after various markups due to confusing/misleading questions, i might be getting a 95% on it. it's amusing that i did absorb a lot at midnight.
the boy who sits next to me got 98% last time. he knows the book off by heart, which shocked me to the core. but this time, we were like, "yeah, well that came straight from the book" and my teahcer's like, "of course, i take them off the book directly." AND these people were arguing about these questions and i knew exactly where they went wrong. vg, as bridget jones might say.
96% in french. it's french, what can i say? i have homework about that... and i'm dining out tonight. did i mention that? sheeeeeeeeeeet.
