hello all, i just lost an entry. how annoying.
well, what am i doing this friday night? i am listening to XFM via the miracle of the internet, hoping to hear (i wanted to say 'hoping to catch sound of') Brighter than Sunshine. if you don't read this regularly, it's the new aqualung.
ooh, they're playing placebo. how pleasant. anyway, the DJ has been playing new singles of every other band (travis, the strokes, the streets, even 50 cent) for some time now. i bet he played it the moment i went off to take a shower. *sigh* the things you sacrifice for personal hygiene.

ETA: 11:30. still no aqualung; don't actually think they'll play it. hey, someone searched for "ben hales" and came here. that's actually a bit worrying. of course, whoever it is could have been searching for some tennis player, but...
my cool history teacher tried to kick my cousin out of something, he told me today. he doesn't like her. hm. she's a bit of a sarcastic bitch, but i like that. my old RS teacher was sarcastic without change in tone of voice, which is the scariest form of sarcasm. i should know. but i liked her. there's something very deep about RS teachers. and i'm such a richard papen. (read The Secret History, it's a good book.)
