2 tests today - maths and latin. tomorrow: physics, french, health, US history. thank god for the 3 day weekend (labour day).

you need 90% to get an A. whereas in The Old School, which i am tempted to call "Ribbons and Lace" or just "Bob" (you should know why), nothing is required for an A. homework maybe. high marks on tests? no.

anyway.

in APUSH today we were talking about the colonial government stuff and what lead to the american revolution. well, my teacher asked for mt "british" point of view and i was like, "well, they're morons, this whole 'virtual representation' thing is a joke, isn't it?"

think they were quite shocked at how the english don't teach patriotism. like, when was britain viewed in a positive light when we did history?

well, ticca and i are equally shocked at american patriotism. we talked on the phone the other day:

"a surprising amount of people wear t-shirts that say how great america is."

"what, without irony?"

i've always meant to wear the union jack. should start shopping.

<< america! land of liberty and regular testing! >>
