school on wednesday. that's the day after tomorrow. that means i have one more day of freedom.
and i don't really have any supplies. i suppose i'll be needing paper. and files. when do i get up? when is lunch? do i really have the same classes everyday? how do i get home? (bus, apparently. hope i don't miss it. then again i can call home, in which i haven't moved yet. apparently that will happen this weekend. but i won't have any furniture. can always do homework on the super-high breakfast-bar and hopefully by then i'll have my laptop back from getting it fixed and i'll get broadband connection. it's still sitting here, unplugged, because the fedex guy didn't have a box to put it in. how pathetic. and my dad doesn't have a car yet. so i might have to take the school bus in the mornings. 6:40.
please, please, please let school be piss easy. and let there be no homework. amen.
remember when i was obsessed with elijah wood? aww. bless him. i saw his film "try seventeen" today. it's now called something like "all i want". it had it's cute moments, namely elijah wood, but it should have been much more charming. it sort of turned out quite boring. it's a film about people, but the characters aren't very interesting. i liked the fantasy bits, but they could have been more developed. bit dull, really. and he still looks too young. wonder what he'll look like when he's 31. at least matt hales has height.
About a Boy was good, though. i had only seen the ending before on a plane and i liked it. but i like it even more now that i've seen most of it. (missed the beginning, was watching harry potter. shut up.) it's the ultimate feel-good movie, what with everyone having christmas dinner together. and i love the Badly Drawn Boy soundtrack. i have a freebie CD of some of those tracks somewhere. and i actually liked hugh grant in it. which is very rare. i loved the narcisism - "having my hair stylishly dischevelled, four units." i think i might buy a VCD of this. and play it all the time. and see the beginning. i really do like it.
