on a really sad note, i should be seeing matt hales tonight. and buying crappily expensive merchandise. and singing along. and asking for an autograph. and crying of awe.
but dammit, no luck. and anyway, i would have needed to be accompanied by someone over 18.
i keep reading reviews of gigs where people are like:
"I went to the most amazing gig of my life last night, i have never been so exited, and i was absoloutely breathtaken the whole time. Matt was absolutely stunning..."
"The songs sound even more beautiful live, and Matts voice is amazing, and he is so endearing. He even drank tea at the gig!" etc.
argh. and i have to go out to dinner tonight, and therefore, possibly miss ali g in the usa, which is a pathetic substitute, but hey.
