the whole DVD thing, i told lucy already in the guestbook, but really not clearly. that's why you rent the august DVD. then if you have the money in november, buy it, cos that's the real thing. there are singing scenes, a scene where frodo and sam see the elves migrate to the grey havens and definately the present scene (which i think might mess up some other parts of the film - the whole aragorn gets the eenstar from arwen not galadriel thing.)
speaking of DVDs, i got the buffy season 2 DVD yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! my now favourite cousin took me. i think you'd agree that season 2 is the best season. angelus, becoming parts 1 and 2. ahh. happy memories.
we listened to boy band pop on the way. which i blame myself for, since i said that pop was 'fine'. "like britney spears?" "no." she's perfectly fine except for listening purposes. the mix CD had that 'gone' song. which is perfectly fine again, except they had to remix it: "youryour gonegone!" the echo remix. every single word. 'hit me baby one more time' was on it too. we didn't listen to it. shame, i liked that song. back in 97.
so, i got the entire season for $50. my dad kept whinning about it, so i looked up the UK price on amazon.co.uk. list price, 79.99 pounds (amazon price 4 pounds less). if i'm not mistaken, that's about $120.
at the check out, i gave the cashier a $50 bill and waited for my 1 cent change.

tax. so every state has different tax. would it kill you to label your products with tax included? it would as well. all those different labels they have to print. because labels = bankrupsy. how many times have i been to america? many. in fact, i come here every year. how many times have i spent money here? every single time. i am such a fool.
when we got back, my grandma's friend mistook me for my 23 year old cousin's girlfriend. doesn't that put the elijah wood age gap thing into perspective?
