good news, mad is back from crete (i didnt even know that she was gone) so she texted me. problem is, that was back in the 30th of july beecause i didnt even know that my ran out of power. at least its good for the battery. anyway, she said if i wanted to do anything 'this week'. a week is 7 days, so: 30, 31, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4th august, which is today. that makes 6 days. still the same week. however, doesnt the new week start today, sunday? so this is no longer the same week.

i asked her if she wanted to see MIIB. the trailer is good, and according to the sunday times, it got one star out of 3, which is much better than all the other films i've ever seen.

speaking of the sunday times culture supplement, they did an article on Fan Fiction in the Doors internet section.

although the title 'when hamlet met the a-team' and the illustrations (of darth vader giving bridget jones a heart and mulder and scully guarding hamlet from an evil a-team) give a wacky picture of fanfic (most fanfic stay in its fandom), the content is pretty good.

there are two mentions of buffy, quotage of jane espenson saying that"fanfiction helps writers to learn how to master the voices of the characters, which is one of the most important things in writing for television. i actively encourage it."

theres also a link to fanfiction.net, an explanation of mary sue and several paragraphs on slash: "stories of friendship bursting into love seem to embody a dream that strong men want perfect companionship as the basis of romance." huh. andapparently there is a < a href="http://writeru.s5.com">fanfic writers university.

i just saw enterprise. tucker got impregnated (via a bowl of pebbles) and started growing nipples on his wrist. T'Pol was so jealous. or so i think. her "3 days, 3 days..." line wreaks of cordy saying, "1 day, 1 day as angel and he's getting some." when i grow up, i'm gonna be a t'pol/tucker shipper. i might start now.

<< welcome to my world. >>
