hey does anyone use that favourite entries thing? cos i have one, which sounds completely lame. i had some favourite paradox364 entries, but look! its locked. evil bitch.
i was all nostalgic and went searching for my old school. heh. this artical in TIMEasia called called it "a hoity-toity institution for little ladies in the making". heh. really not that glamourous. read clara's diary.
anyhoo, the article is about karen mok, some popstar i've never heard of who doesn't like hong kong and plans to leave once she stops being famous or sth. cool. her and johanna ho, another DOGS girl, went to england (surprise) where jo ho went to study fashion with stella mcartney. even cooler.
so my whole idea of gong back to the inhospitable to get fame and fortune works. bet she was rich already, though.
karen mok is starring in this commercial crappy chinese charlie's angels with zhao wei and shu qi. think i'm gonna see it.
zhao wei was in huan zhu ge ge, the series which i have all 72 VCDs of. plus she's very pretty plus i looked like her when i was 10.
shu qi i only discovered last half term when wong siu and i watched a crappy movie with her in it. according to TIMEasia, she made 45 movies in her 6 year career, two of which were porno. now she's very famous (and do i notice? nooooooo) especially for her not-so-sexy lips. *flashback: when i saw the movie, i thought: hey whats with the chick with the freakshow fat lips?*
she can act. apparently. and has been labeled asia's binoche. and wongsiu said that she dated leon lai. and she intimidated, drumroll: nicholas tse. not nearly finished yet. she was originally cast as jen, the role which catapulted zhang ziyi into international stardom, in crouching tiger hidden dragon. she was pulled out of shooting cos her manager told her to shoot a 5 day coke ad.
and she's wierd: she said that she was sitting at the bottom of the eiffel tower with a bottle of wine and a glass until 4 am when the police dragged her away. i like her cos she's a porn star. that was a lie. she has this kickass, wierdo taiwanese accent.
