arent we all blind sometimes?

saw Igby Goes Down with hannah today. we really wanted to see it, but it was only on at muswell hill odeon so i took the bus there. it was easier and nearer than i thought. i like muswell hill, its very pretty. while waiting for hannah, i saw a coach, probably from my school and i saw this shop called falconer (or the falconer) which my RS teacher must shop from she lives somewhere near there and im pretty sure that two of her bags are from there. she has this obsession with putting her books and files in brightly coloured bags. she has a system, she said.

muswell hill odeon was a sweet little cinema. the girl who sold us the tickets also sold me my tango. there were only 3 screens and our one only had 3 more people. it was very small and very dark, and i couldnt actually see anything but somehow hannah managed to find some seats. the actual screen had curtains, which closed after the trailers and opened again for the film. none of that now for our feature presentation bullshit.

after the film (which was very cool, especially when ryan phillippe was on), we sort of went our separate ways and that would have been The Last Time i see hannah until next year if im lucky. shes going to spain next week and then to italy, so she wont make The Picnic.

i hate saying good-bye to my friends like this. its really horrible. so far, out of my close friendship circle ive bid farewell to hannah and ash, but ill have to do that to a lot more people next week, and i may have already done so to some people without knowing that its the last time ive seen them. i dont know if mads has gone to kenya but she might have already.

walking past the bus stop on my way home, i wanted to to wait for another bus to come so i can go too muswell hill again and see hannah again. going to the cinema is not the best way to spend time with someone for the last time.
