arent we all blind sometimes?

it is likely that i won't be facing the world until 4 in the afternoon tomorrow (today) so i might as well throw away my hopes of going music/book shopping.

i have just downloaded the summer reading list off the school's website, not having been notified because i didn't do English this year. seems as if i should have read Emma instead of Pride and Prejudice. Girl with a Pearl Earring is in the list, but my interest in the story has waned... the narrative isn't that beautiful. and Rebecca is on there too. that book did nothing for me.

i'm raiding my parents' CD collection for Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra, Simon and Garfunkel, Don McLean and a piano playing the Moonlight Sonata while a double bass plays a completely different piece on music on top and it sounds really cool...

i still want Hot Fuss very badly. it's not even out here till the 15th, by which time i'll be in HK. i could get it in the UK, but i have no means of listening to it as i can't get it into the iPod. thank you, fate.

and why is that bloody Aquashop not open? hope they deliver worldwide...

Herman's Hermits is cool. no milk today/it wasn't always so/the company was gay/we'd turn night into day

my iPod has finally run out of storage space. that's a good feeling because a) i have proven that however much i paid for it all those years ago was worth it and b) i have an excuse to replace the crap i never listen to with good stuff.
