arent we all blind sometimes?

ok. what's happening in lok-land, besides the the new aqualung album which is a bout to finish here. this means i get to begin the second listen.

okay besides that. today was tropical day. so i wore a short sarong thing over my jeans. but wenke gave me one of those fabulously tacky hawaiian flower wreath things, they're called lays, i think. which completed my look, in my opinion. and i got 100% in my maths test. and the last time that happened wa sa test on standard form, and i've known about that since ever.

right, yes. yesterday. i had shitloads of work yesterday, but i also had lots of other stuff to do. school ends 2:30, but i was at school until 4 something doing vice president(!) things with the other two officers in Astro Club (cute). we're gonna bake cookies for the next meeting. no really. so we discussed other stuff, like how we could come back earlier (11:45) from the trip to the observatory for the PSATs the next day. i'm fine with that cos i went to bed at 1 last night. actually, i was asleep the entire day. maybe not.

so i got home, had a bowl of noodles and left for "College Night". basically representatives from 300 something universites come to this convention place (also american football venue and race track) and give out little brochures. wasn't very useful cos they don't give out anything detailed. you have to go online, which is what i do anyway. so i didn't even know what to ask those people, cos the way i see it, in 15 years time it's likely that i'll be running a successful design business or i'll have a PHD in some chemical engineering thing. maybe i'll be a very successful judge.

so i don't know what i'm doing. what to say? when in doubt, abuse british, newly immigrated status. so i went round saying that i don't know too much about the american uni system. which isn't really true, but the Harvard man was really helpful. had a look at some art school in houston, Rice ("ivy of the south"), Stanford, Yale, Cornell (which sounded very nice), Caltech (30 nobel prize winners, very small school, as good as it gets in maths and the sciences. yes, amy, check it out now). what else?

oh yeah, this is gonna be bloody hard. they look for people with passion. and i don't think matt hales counts as an interest. have you ever heard of a genius with no interests? i have to find a niche and find it fast.

(am absolutely in love with Extraordinary Thing.)

oh yeah and i saw a lot of people i know there. just to prove to my parents that i'm not making friends up. heh.

so i got home and had dinner, during which the new season of Angel began so i missed half of it. DB has gelled his mini-afro back. yeah, i suppose. now that he's boss-man, he's wearing sheer-shirts again. please, no-one wants to see your man-nips.

it was cool how he dealt this the special ops guy. who called him a "little fairy". "i'm not little."

they had a mini-preview in which spike calls himself angel's date. heh.

my lunch-buddies now know about my gay-man fetish. i was going to break to them it slowly, but things get revealed at the lunch table (see: my life).

anyway, last night: i saw about five sitcoms before taking a shower then doing my APUSH homework.

tomorrow is friday.

ETA: 6:41. i'm still here hogging my aunt's compy. think i've heard the album five times. i believe it's lovely.

how long have i been here? how little do i understand physics problems involving idiots weighing themselves in lifts?
