i have school tomorrow but i care not, for i have matt's voice and ben's guitar. oh aqualung.net, how i love thou.

i remember trying to listen to only living boy in new york at school in my free at the end of term. everyone was like, "mark who?" good times.

i was in the shower and i thought of all this clever stuff to say. like:

the water is less hard here, which makes everything foam more, so shampooing is a much more satisfying experience.

however, out of the shower, this is sounding very stupid.

i probably have more to say. like how i know nothing about email etiquette. it's fine when you know whom you're emailing. okay, no. it's fine if your emailee is your friend. what to do when you're handing in homework? or arranging to have your DT taken home? or asking for permission to see photos?

do you write it like a letter? like a note (and how do youw rite those anyway)? how to greet? dear? hello? is launching straight into the subject too rude? how to sign off? surely 'love' is a tad too... i mean, agape, fine but... is "all the best" suitable for all occasions? do fullstops make statements sound too terminal? what language to write in? what do you call yourself?

and when to reply? and how? what if you have no reason to reply but to say 'thank you' for something completely trivial? would your emailee find you annoying? is the email therefore considered spam?

i need to get one of those netiquette books. except those are just full of "advise" like: 'don't shout at people in message boards' and 'don't flame'. as if impertinent bitches would read those books anyway. as if they'd change their ways and repent.

think i've infected my left ear. need to clean my earphones more regularly.

tests to get back tomorrow! noooooooo. saw a bit of The Good Girl today. jake gyllenhaal was fabulous, as usual. his fan, sarah, my minion, is on a plane bound for the united kingdom. happy schooling to her! this friday is sixth-form induction day. i have less than a week to decide to get my arse back there. haha. i'd like to think that it's still an option. too many possibilities is not necessarily a good thing.
