ay! i'm happy today!

i really am. i went to physics thinking, oh my god, i got 53% in a quiz and much worse in the next one, what can possibly go right?

well, it turns out that for the first test, most people got in the 30's so i wasn't that bad. coupled with my crap score on the second one of 35%, i was ranked 8th out of 21. and according to my teacher, that's not bad. furthermore, 35 and 53 is nice and symmetrical and adds up to 88, which, if you're of hong kong origin, is a good sign.

then i went to french and my teacher said that the yearn i composed about myself was "tres bien". then finished my french homework in the subsequent lessons and did the US history quiz without dying. whether i passed it or not remains a question which shall be answered tomorrow, so i don't care for now.

then i went to maths where a understood everything. (i did panic as i had a lapse about finding the x intercept given a line equation. hello? solve it?)

then i got candy again cos i'm a latin genius. okay, it wasn't hard.

and for the metaphorical whipped cream on top of the metaphorical mocha frappacino, i spotted a shinily new blue golf today. so it's lights were a bit messed up, but hey. i also managed to listen from Chicken to Valentine's day of Harrison on the school bus. for those unfortunate souls who don't have Harrison, it's five songs. very good ones at that.

so that's a big YAY.

and my dad passed his driving test today. he seemed unimpressed with the test. so now he can buy a car and maybe we'll someday move into our very finished house!
