ok. read the last entry first if you don't know about what i'm about to talk about.

says the cryptic birthday girl. (whoo hoo!)

have you read it? if you haven't go here then come back. if you have, please proceed.

it all began back in 198... no wait, that was me, sorry. it all began when i was in london, (several weeks ago) when i found out that a photographer called ian tilton once took photos of the band RUTH (rather then the person RUTH, god). read about it here.

so naturally, i went to his website. (last time i didn't search on the internet, i put off finding out about aqualung for five months, in which many, many gigs happened.) found out he's the guy who took the famous photo of kurt cobain crying. no photos of RUTH were found cos they are too obscure.

then i moved continents.

then one day, as i was sitting in this exact same spot, i thought, hey, i'm gonna ask that ian tilton guy. so i did. and he replied. and said that i needed to get RUTH's permission.

so naturally, i emailed karlsen. and he - sorry, different man *cough* - ben replied. which was nice, because it's my birthday today.

it's, like, one degree of separation. it's like getting a fucking email from sarah michelle gellar!

i thought that this was gonna be a shit b-day (bidet, heh), but i've been really lucky for the past couple of hours. really blessed. last night, i was flipping channels and i saw that grease 2 was on. 'hey,' i thought, 'remember that clip nay showed us? how hilarious was the "reprodution" song?' and lo and behold, the song began the moment i started watching.

after that, i channel surfed again, and saw the word 'Wilde'. again, the moment i began watching, jude law exclaimed the eternal words, "shut up about your fucking water!"

two words about that film: jude law. maybe a third: nudity.

then i saw graham norton. the american TV voice was like, "graaam norton". get it right.

<< happy birthday to me! happy birthday to me! >>
