oh the irony. strange and beautiful (i'll put a spell on you) was played in the smallville finale. i used to really want that to happen, and it was highly likely, cos b-unique is part of the aol time warner corporate thing.

but now i think: smallville - show of cheap and aqualung - music of class? i think not. and it was played in a scene with lana? i always pictured it as lex spying on clark or something vaguely stalkerish yet sweet like that.

still, a nice merging of fandoms, like matt hales' clark kent message.

oh yeah, and spanish writing today. blah, i say, blah. sort of fun afterwards when we practically gate-crashed our form teacher's first year french class. love having nothing to do at school. won't be able to adjust to lesson-going next year.

ETA: strange and beautiful (i'll put a spell on you) didn't win the ivor novello award for best song. dammit. david gray's the other side did. that was on smallville too. i've been told that it's very clexy. maybe its the stupid brackets. because the song? so perfect.
