arent we all blind sometimes?

i am such a joke of a GCSE candidate. one of my proposed points of investigation for my maths stats coursework is hair colour does not determine IQ i.e.: are blondes really dumber?

amy suggested it. she wouldnt do it, because she has reason and logic and all that jazzy good stuff. while i have a strange sense of humour. hope my maths teacher gets it.

as idAS/A2 decisions so far i might do maths, chemistry, physics A2, and RS or DT or possibly french AS. its so difficult. but mrs B was so nice today. she told me that the math/chem/phy ensemble will give me a crapload of career oportunities and i could do psychology, philosophy and architechture just with those 3, no RS, no DT.

very tempting, but all sciences seem so shallow of me. i have this preconception that people who do arts like english and RS must be very deep to think deep thoughts like that. probably cos i find sciences much more straightforward than them. anyhoo, sciences are respected in chinese circles, so thats good...ish. its not like im planning to go and work in HK. or china.

so i still feel like a cardboard scientist. lisa kudrow was one. then she dyed her hair blonde and went to acting classes. look how famous she is now!

your A levels don't necessarily predetermine your career choice, or what you read in university. if they think you can do it, theyll offer you a place. as long as youre good enough. i read all these articles on how law schools are accepting students previously reading anything non-law-related, on the grounds that theyre good. so if i ever feel like being evil...
